If we are to work as healers, the heart chakra must be balanced, and it is the heart chakra that we work from. If we want to help
someone and don't quite know where to "attack", we can target the heart chakra.
Newer forms of psychotherapy are based on the heart chakra. If the heart chakra becomes balanced
and in harmony, it will spread like ripples and affect the other chakras.

The heart chakra also represents the place where we are most vulnerable; just think about what it's like
to be heartbroken - our hearts ache! And happy is the one who has not been wounded and scarred
in the heart chakra early in childhood, but most of us probably have, because our parents also have a wounded heart chakra. To be able to give the unconditional love that all young children need, you need to have a harmonious and balanced heart chakra yourself. That is why it is
so important to work with this chakra! But one thing is to learn to open the heart chakra (in many people
it is closed at a fairly young age), so that you are able to give. Another thing is also to learn to close it
in order to be able to defend yourself if you are exposed to people who want to hurt you. Hypersensitive people
can have problems here. So the goal here is the same as elsewhere: a balanced chakra.
The colours traditionally associated with the heart chakra are green and pink. Green is the colour that
"belongs" to this chakra, but pink has also been shown to have a very positive effect. For example, if you have
For example, if you are suffering from heartbreak, rose quartz is one of the best stones to use! Rose quartz is the
the comforter, a stone with soft good vibrations. If you are going through a period with a lot of arguments
or disharmony in the home, it can be a good idea to place a few rose quartz stones around the
in the living room (or where you "argue" the most) - preferably somewhat large ones (I'm speaking from experience here)!
Otherwise, green aventurine is a great healing stone and absolutely lovely for the heart chakra. Hang it
hang it on a string around your neck so that it hangs just above the heart chakra. It protects you from
other people's negativity, and it's great for those who are going out into the big world for the first time on their
and has a protective effect.
Tourmaline is another really powerful healing stone, and it can be both green and pink. A
tourmaline wand with both pink and green stripes is highly recommended, and feel free to massage the
the chakra with the blunt end.
Green is also considered to be the most important and effective healing colour in general.
Green also has a calming and harmonising effect, and we can see how people have started
started using this colour on the walls of hospitals.
Green jasper is my anti-depression stone, and it feels incredibly good to have one in your hand (preferably smoothly polished and the size of half a clementine). Give it a try!
Green jade is also a beautiful stone and is used for healing in a number of areas (including urinary tract and kidney
and kidney disorders). Jade is the bringer of joy, and the Chinese often refer to a man's genitalia as
the jade stick (joystick?). Jade draws impurities out of the body, and it is a good idea to place it
over swollen glands. It is also said to be nice to have inside the bandage over broken bones or inside the mouth
for an aching tooth (I haven't tried this last one yet). Either way, it's a very beautiful stone,
and it is also said to induce clear thoughts.
