You no longer function in the way we call "normal". You want to be a saint or be seen as religiously insane or go around performing miracles (like Jesus did) or walk straight through mountains or soar over them (like an advanced Tibetan monk) or sit on top of a pillar for the rest of your life and live on air or seek solitude in nature. If you're a seventh chakra person, you also know what death is. Our thread of life, the silver thread that connects our soul to our body when we are astral travelling, and which is cut or broken when we die, is connected to the crown chakra. We should not try to close the crown chakra (I think most of us could use the small dose of "input" from above that we are able to receive on a daily basis!)

Diamond
There are many (modern) myths associated with diamonds, but personally I think some of them have more to do with the stone being so expensive (it's all done by those who control the diamond market to maintain an artificially high price). The stone is popular in many countries in engagement or wedding rings, and therefore many people believe that it encourages fidelity. But giving away such an expensive and beautiful stone is more an expression of love, of "what you mean to me", and for many people it is also a status symbol. But regardless, diamonds are incredibly beautiful, refracting light and sending it back in all the colours of the rainbow. Diamonds are known as the hardest stone we have, and are used to cut glass. And it's only in recent history that it was discovered that by applying pressure to the stone at a certain point, these beautiful facets could be created. Before that, the diamond was used as an ordinary polished stone, and it has also been found as part of the contents of African shamans' medicine pouches, and was probably used in the same way as quartz crystal elsewhere. The diamond is said to give courage and victory in battle and was used by Roman soldiers for this purpose. The diamond strengthens one's self-esteem, especially in relation to the opposite sex, and it is said to make one sexually freer and heal sexual dysfunctions. With its incredible clarity, the diamond is a purifying stone and has been magically used to achieve spiritual clarity and ecstasy. It is also a great scrying stone. (Let the flame of a candle dance across the stone!) The diamond is also a great protective stone, and it is associated with the sun and the sun's rays.
Quartz crystal
The quartz crystal is the most widely used and certainly the most useful of all stones in all forms of healing and magic, and there are now many books on the market about the quartz crystal. So I'll just say a few words about it here (I'd probably prefer to write a hymn of praise to the crystal, and leave it at that!) Crystals come in many different varieties - single- or double-terminated, single or clustered, completely clear or with varying degrees of "whiteness", with or without surfaces that refract the light inside the crystal, etc. etc.
Crystals can be used for most things (see also chapter: Working with stones and crystals, p....). In relation to the chakras and chakra healing, it can be used on all the chakras, one alone or to enhance the effect of other stones. It can be used to cleanse a chakra and to activate a "dead" chakra. If you don't know which stone to use, you can always use a crystal. It can also be used as a focal point or as an aid to focus during any magical work. The nice and exciting thing about crystals is that they can be programmed for a specific purpose (remember to cleanse them first), and so they can also become very special gifts
